I am just noe finding your blog via a Paleo Diet Android app. I don't even remember where I learned about the Paleo Diet, but have been researching and wanting to convert ever since! With Fibromylagia and occasional bouts of acne, I wanted to do it for health reasons mostly. I work out alot, so I figured it would be a plus factor for that too. My mom also has Fibro and since her and my dad have been wanting to lose weight and feel better to no avail, I am hoping Paleo is our answer! Problem is I am feeling overwhelmed due to the fact it seems expensive to follow and time consuming to make most everything from scratch. Have any suggestions for how to get started (and for convincing two stubborn parents to convert too? :)

Thanks - JesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7115254097231115634.post-19525958847476002692013-12-14T15:07:09.822-05:002013-12-14T15:07:09.822-05:00This soup is absolutely amazing. Love chocolate!

I have read where if you have a damaged liver, that if you eat one avocado per day, it will repair your liver. I do not like the taste of just raw avocado so I have been making Avocado pudding with another recipe I found online :Avocado Breakfast Pudding (a.k.a. Vitamina de Abacate)
serves 1 or 2

1 ripe avocado
1/2 cup of milk
1 TBS honey
2-3 TBS of granola (or, as I used, crushed almonds)

Scoop avocado into a blender (or cusinart). This morning, I made THE most amazing turkey sausage! I had cut the salt in half just because I seem to have a taste sensitivity to salt and wanted to try a lower amount first. YUM. I recently found out that I am allergic to pork, so this is a great substitution.
